The beautiful thing about art is that it reveals the hidden side of humanity and nature and communicates it in a way that brings out those hidden matters of the heart.
Movies are great to watch—the art, drama, dialogue, small details, and how actors give themselves to the characters so the audience can feel their emotions. I like watching movies and was fascinated by the lives of superheroes. How they possess the power to help someone who could not help themselves. It’s marvelous for me to see that superheroes sacrifice so much to protect and care for the ones they commit to protect, the people they know or the people they don’t.
Spider-Man is one of the heroes I enjoyed watching as a kid. The ordinary guy bitten by a spider, and that one moment changed his life completely and made him somewhat extraordinary. The tragedy, loss, love, wrestling with himself over what he ought to do and what he ought not to do, and contemplating how to solve the problems. All the Spider-Man movies, from Tobey to Andrew and Tom Holland, are must-watch for me, and I enjoyed them.
The recent Spider-Man movie does have its critics, and every movie has its critics. So many people were expecting something different from this movie, but it turned out to be a movie about love, accepting, rebuilding, fighting, sacrificing, forgiving, and living by the decisions, but also giving the hope of tomorrow.
The main characters of the movie showed how each of them had something in common, which was loss—not someone who died, but someone who was alive but could not be in their life. I did cry watching that movie, and many audience members’ eyes were teary because it went home. Some movies do make you think about your life, and this was one of them.
MJ, as a character, was right about her stance because she watched Peter throughout her school years and got interested in him before he was Spider-Man. She liked Peter first, but when there is no memory of Peter Parker, she does not have those small moments and small details that make us fall in love. So when she says she does not love him, it is because love develops through time, and that was stolen from her.
Ned, on the other hand, was looking for something which he was curious about and knew was missing. We can all find some relevance in the movie, but as the movie says, a brand new day means you can start again with your life. You can move on while accepting the joy and pain. You can reach out, and it’s never too late.
Some movies do make you want to go the extra mile to do good for people if you watch carefully. It shows us how being selfish is not right.
The Spider-Man movie also speaks to the powerful: “With great power comes great responsibility.” It shows that if you have the power to do something good, then do it.

Considering this, we all have the power to make a difference in someone’s life. As Aunt May says, “When you help someone, you help everyone.”
In other words, we are all superheroes, but we often do not realize it. We hide our extraordinary selves, the thing that makes us special, and mask it with our ordinary selves, wishing, “One day, I will do something great.”
But what about now?
What about unmasking your ordinary self to reveal your superpower? Why wait to take action? Why wait to show kindness? Why not reach out and be an encouragement to someone?

Be the hero you always wanted to be. Stop being scared of being kind to people. Your small gestures and deeds are needed in the art of life. Without you, the art won’t reach its full potential if you don’t take a step.
