After completing my first year at BSSM, I returned to Pakistan to spend time with my family and church community. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the church members on the first Sunday. Additionally, I had the privilege of delivering a sermon on the topic of being the Temple of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing our purpose to bring glory to God.
Following the sermon, I led a prayer session where I fervently prayed for the people to have an encounter with God. To my joy, several individuals approached me afterward, sharing their personal encounters and how God had revealed aspects of His nature to them during the prayer time.
On the subsequent Sunday, I traveled to a different church, located an hour away from my hometown. The pastor of that church happens to be one of my friends. Their Sunday service commenced at 7 AM, so I made the effort to be there in the morning. I had the privilege of preaching another sermon and leading the congregation in prayer for a divine encounter with God. Once the service concluded, I returned to my hometown in time for our 10 AM Sunday service. God truly moved in remarkable ways during that service, and I witnessed amazing transformations in the lives of the people present. It was a testament to His power and love.
On August 11th, the youth leadership and I organized a seminar specifically designed for young people. Our goal was to provide an environment where they could encounter the love of God in a profound way. During the seminar, I had the privilege of speaking about the Father’s love, emphasizing its transformative power in our lives.
To my awe and delight, seventeen young individuals made the decision to surrender their lives to Christ after hearing the message. Witnessing their commitment and response to the message was truly a humbling experience. It was a testament to the impact of God’s love and the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.
This momentous occasion served as a reminder of the importance of creating spaces where young people can encounter God’s love and make life-altering decisions. I am grateful to have been a part of this seminar and to witness firsthand the power of God’s love in action.
